True Translate employees must demonstrate oral proficiency in both English and Spanish. Take each proficiency test using our partner, Language Testing International, Once you have completed the ProFluent+ oral tests in both English and Spanish, upload your documents onto the website.

All translators are required to complete a 1099-MISC form for tax reporting purposes. At the end of the year, translators who earn more than $600 in a year as an independent contractor must file.
