True Translate employees must demonstrate oral proficiency in both English and Spanish. Take each proficiency test using our partner, Language Testing International, https://www.profluentplus.com/b2b/. Once you have completed the ProFluent+ oral tests in both English and Spanish, upload your documents onto the website.

All translators are required to complete a 1099-MISC form for tax reporting purposes. At the end of the year, translators who earn more than $600 in a year as an independent contractor must file. Simply visit https://1099online.com/ enter your name, address and social securtity number, save the form as a PDF and upload it to the site. Click here to register.

Finally, enter available times for your translator interview when you can be contacted by a representative at True Translate for your interview. Upon acceptance, you can start translating and earning money right away!
